MOU signed with Little Prince House; Korea’s only exhibition hall approved by France’s Saint-Exupéry Foundation
Little Prince House, officially authorized by France’s Saint-Exupéry Foundation, is set to open in March 2026 in Gamcheon Culture Village.
Saha-gu announced on November 18 that it has signed an MOU with Little Prince House to establish Korea’s only permanent Little Prince exhibition hall endorsed by the Saint-Exupéry Foundation within Gamcheon Culture Village.
Little Prince House will serve as Korea’s only permanent cultural exhibition hall dedicated to The Little Prince, officially sponsored and approved by the Saint-Exupéry Foundation. The facility will comprise four floors above ground and one basement level. The exhibition hall will showcase a variety of exhibits and interactive experiences highlighting the literary significance of The Little Prince and the philosophy of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. It will also feature the sale of authentic merchandise licensed by the Foundation.
To commemorate the 140th anniversary of Korea–France diplomatic relations and the 80th anniversary of the publication of The Little Prince, special events will be held in conjunction with the March 2026 opening.
Gamcheon Culture Village is one of Busan’s leading tourist attractions, drawing more than 3 million visitors each year, with its Little Prince statue recognized as one of its signature landmarks. With the opening of Little Prince House in 2026, the village is expected to make a significant leap forward, evolving into a global destination where art, storytelling, and world-class cultural content come together in one place.
A Saha-gu official stated, “Little Prince House will become a new cultural landmark driving tourism along the lower pathway of Gamcheon Culture Village. We expect it to lay the groundwork for balanced development across the village and sustainable cultural tourism in which residents and tourists grow together.”
